As you can tell, I am NOT a doomsday prepper. The likelihood of a doomsday situation happening is extremely low and honestly I wouldn't really want to be around if that situation actually happened. When it comes to emergency preparedness its best to plan and prepare for situations that are more likely to occur like hurricanes, tornados, cyberattacks, and other real world disasters. Plus, when these disasters do happen, it's not about hoarding resources, it's about keeping yourself safe so you can help your community clean up afterwards.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and as a former teacher, I've had to think and plan for the worst case sceneries, like active shooter situations. In the classroom, I recognized vulnerabilities and did what I could to minimize risk to myself and my students.
I would have to say no to this one. However, I've always been fascinated by natural disasters, human made disasters, and worst case sceneries. I've watched countless documentaries, read articles, went through first aid training, and learned the basics of surviving outdoors. I don't know everything, but what I do know I will happily share with you.
Honestly, this is my personal preference. Our world is very privacy invasive, and even though I am choosing to put myself out there online, I want to protect myself from malicious intent.
There's lots of ways to support my blog. Reading my blog posts, sharing them on social media, and commenting a great way to help support my blog. If you choose to help financially, you can buy a product I suggest through my affiliate links within some posts (at no cost to you) or you can donate to me directly by buying me a coffee.
I always research, to the best of my ability, and will state where I get my information from (APA style) on each blog post if needed. I use trusted sources for information and don't spread fear like others do.
